Welcome to Tayport Playgroup, your child's home away from home in Tayport, Fife. We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5. We offer a wide range of activities and programs to help your child learn, grow, and thrive.
Our facilities are designed to be warm, welcoming, and safe, with plenty of space for your child to explore and learn. We have a range of indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as dedicated spaces for quiet time, creative play, and learning.
Supported Learning
Our goal is to support children's learning through play. We do this by offering a child-centered curriculum, providing choices in activities and resources, promoting effective staff/child interactions, responding to children's needs and interests, and monitoring progress across the key areas of the curriculum. We also have effective assessment, recording, and reporting procedures to ensure progress for each child.
The aim of our playgroup is to foster a positive ethos within a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. We achieve this by involving staff, children, and parents in regular review and feedback sessions, valuing different skills and building upon them, welcoming visitors and promoting links within the community, ensuring equality, diversity, and fairness, encouraging healthy choices, and promoting positive behavior.
